Job Summary
The Food Preparation Worker plays a vital role in the culinary team, responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to supervisors.
• Participate in catering events or banquets as required, ensuring timely service of food items.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

• Experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
