Trestle Studio proudly launched The Hotel Chalet, a new boutique lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga at The Chattanooga Choo Choo, and is building a motivated team who are enthusiastic about creating a unique space where culture, elevated service standards, and authentic hospitality are paramount.

The property, formerly operated as The Choo Choo Hotel, features 127 guest rooms, including 25 within restored vintage train carriages, an original bar and restaurant concept, Elsie’s Daughter, with parlor, patio, and courtyard service, a 3,000SF ballroom, a fitness center, and an alpine pool. With an emphasis on the rich history of the hotel and surrounding area, and the boundless opportunity for adventure in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, The Hotel Chalet welcomes travelers who seek adventure, timeless style, and intrinsic comfort.

Elsie's Daughter is an Appalachian-inspired bistro that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the region. Nestled in the heart of Chattanooga, as part of The Hotel Chalet, we take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere with a focus on food, drink, and exceptional service. We’re looking for a hospitality-driven bartender who shares our passion for quality ingredients, crafted cocktails, and warm, engaging guest interactions. Qualifications:

• Up-to-date ABC card or willingness to obtain before the start date.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and guest preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware and bar tools are polished and ready for service.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and creating memorable experiences.
• Monitor inventory and assist with restocking bar supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, as well as state and local alcohol regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar.
