The Hotel Chalet in Chattanooga, TN is looking for one salaried General Manager for Elsie's Daughter to join our 22 person strong team. We are located on 1404 Rossville Ave.
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged. A seasoned hospitality professional with an eye for detail, and proven management experience.
Responsibilities
- Be a support and floor presence during service hours at the hotel restaurant, Elsie's Daughter (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
- Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
- Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
- Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
- Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
- Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
- Strong financial acumen- understanding of how to control beverage costs and operating expenses
- Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place
