Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Process transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders with food service.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; restock as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance with health codes.
- Handle cash register operations efficiently, including opening and closing duties.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Shift 4 POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beverage trends.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be of legal drinking age.
