Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, industrial facilities, and residential properties. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents alike. A strong background in custodial work and housekeeping management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety regulations.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles, preferably within the hospitality or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
