Qualifications
Experience:
- relevant, 2year (Preferred)
- housekeeping/cleaning. 2 year (Preferred)
- hotel, 2 year (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to stand for a number of hours at a time
- Ability and willingness bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 100 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays _________________________________________________________________________________
General Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms including: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, moping, and dusting
- Restock and replace guest amenities within guest rooms
- Communicate clean status of each room upon completion
- Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times
- Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order
- Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner
- Possible Laundry duties
DETAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Laundry attendant / House person functions include:
- Stocking room attendants carts with supplies.
- Rotating linens and stocking linens in storerooms.
- Maintaining shelf organization in the storerooms.
- Replenishing storeroom supplies.
- Removing trash and dirty linens from room attendant carts.
- Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas such as lobby, pool and public restrooms.
- Sweeping and vacuuming floors, hallways, and stairwells.
- Reporting maintenance problems or completing work repair orders.
- Cleaning walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
- Assisting the Engineering staff when necessary.
- Delivering special request items such as cribs, roll-a-ways, and blow dryers to guestrooms.
- Picking up & throwing away trash
Guest Services : Participates in the culture that strives to meet or exceed customer expectations. Specifically:
- Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by proactively responding to guest needs.
- Proactively partners with staff to deliver value-added customer service programs, in accordance with brand and company standards.
- Communicates to guests about hospitality promotions, local attractions, and points of interest.
Grooming: All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
Safety and Security: Supports the hotel management staff in creating and reinforcing a work space culture that emphasizes safety and security, specifically:
- Recognizes, reports, and corrects conditions which may create security and safety hazards.
- Understands and adheres to policies and procedures for the hotel’s key control system.

Present two forms of ID, ready to use. They must be original, valid, and up to date (not copies). They can be your drivers license, social security card, passport or birth certificate.
