General Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, utilizing schematics as necessary.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and effectively.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience supervising teams being highly desirable.
• A customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
