About the Position
The Hotel Veritas offers a unique and exciting opportunity to embody a full array of hotel services as a representative of our Front Desk. This position provides the environment to gain experience in all areas of our hotel. Our Guest Service Agents often operate independently with some overlap during the day for additional support during high traffic periods. They are expected to follow hotel policy and make supervisory level decisions throughout their shift. The ideal candidate is an experienced, high-energy and empowered individual who will proactively provide constant support and guidance to guests. A passion for hospitality and experience with customer service and problem solving is essential.
Scheduling:
The part-time position will require 24-32 hours per week.
The full-time position will require 32-40 hours per week.
Weekend availability required.
Shifts range from 7AM - 3PM, 11AM - 7PM, and 3PM - 11PM.
Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in hospitality and customer service
- Reliable and have a sense of urgency.
- Punctual and able to make it to work on time.
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism in all interactions/situations.
- Ready to tackle the day at start of shift with positive energy
- Excited to assist, help, guide and support guests
- Exudes confidence and is exceedingly knowledgeable
- Outstanding organizational and time management processes.
- Encourage synergy and team work among the team.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Must be able to stand upright, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for entire work shift
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 80 lbs.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to serve cocktails & wine and plate food for guests.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
