Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning items as needed. This position is essential in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established protocols.
- Perform dry cleaning services for guests as required.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry materials, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly.
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
