As membership continues to grow, The House at 1229 seeks a passionate House Attendant eager to make a positive impact and cultivate an inviting, dynamic environment where women leaders can thrive.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated House Attendant to ensure our club remains a clean, well-maintained, and inviting space for members. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality experience, particularly in a country club, hotel, or similar setting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleanliness & Maintenance

  • Maintain a pristine environment, including common areas, restrooms, and spa facilities.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
  • Ensure kitchen and pantry areas are stocked and organized, including washing dishes and folding laundry.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, assist with minor upkeep, and ensure security protocols (locking/unlocking as needed).

Event & Member Support

  • Assist with event and meeting setups, including arranging furniture and preparing spaces.
  • Provide hospitality services, such as serving refreshments and ensuring members feel welcome.
  • Support event operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment.

Waste Management & Inventory Control

  • Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling materials.
  • Monitor and restock cleaning, hospitality, and pantry supplies.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of necessary materials for seamless daily operations.

Experience & Requirements

  • High school GED and 1-2 years of experience in high-end hospitality or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products to maintain a polished and professional environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Comfort with handling cleaning chemicals and adherence to proper safety protocols.
  • Ability to handle confidential and high-profile clientele with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Basic knowledge of light maintenance and troubleshooting (e.g., minor repairs, reporting facility issues).
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills to handle daily responsibilities efficiently.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable with standing, climbing, walking, bending, and performing manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Evening and weekend availability may be required based on the club’s event schedule.
