Our team is looking for a Social Media Marketer Superstar / Part Time 20 hours a week! A successful candidate is someone who will understand current social media trends and how to create viral content. While we will often have ideas for content, we are looking for the type of person who will be able to come up with their own ideas for content as well.

Responsibilities :

The selected candidate will be working on enhancing the many businesses we have under the West Lake Management and West Lake Realty umbrella including but not limited to Lakeland Polk County Housing Development and the Lakeland Housing Authority.

Experience with editing videos for social media
Working with Blue / Green Screen
Understanding of current social media practices and trends (X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
Knowledge of social media video ratios, best type of content for each platform, and posting / managing social media content
Graphic Design Capabilities (for thumbnails and other design work)
Foundational writing and editing skills (for ad copy and captions on social media posts)
Brand Development : Assist in creating and maintaining a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience
Assist with Website Development : Collaborate on website updates, ensuring an engaging user experience and alignment with our branding
Social Media Marketing : Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across our social media platforms to boost brand awareness and engagement
Analytics and Reporting : Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement
Must be able to adapt to shooting content on the go
Willingness to travel for video shoots
Creating videos from iPhone or other mobile apps
Fundraising activities, assist with all marketing activities, including website content, advertising, social media, and tradeshow planning
Familiarity with Mirrorless / DSLR Camera, External Lighting, External Audio Sources and MAC OS
Owning equipment is a plus!

Qualifications :

Adobe Premiere : 1 year (Preferred)

Content creation : 1 year (Preferred)

Graphic design : 1 year (Preferred)

Video production : 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation :

Part Time position salary negotiable.
