We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring that all safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- ATTENDANCE IS A NECESSARY FUNCTION IN THIS ROLE.
- Repair and maintain household fixtures/items.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication and positive interactions with coworkers, residents, and the public regarding maintenance issues/concerns in affordable housing developments.
- Perform various custodial duties including but not limited to cleaning apartments, maintaining common areas and assisting in the cleaning of offices in accordance with required cleaning standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
