What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at The Housing Foundation?
Maintenance person needed for Property Management Company based in Orono. Much have basic knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Strong carpentry skills preferred. Duties will include preventive maintenance tasks, work orders, apartment rehab, snow removal and other maintenance related tasks. Must be able to communicate well both verbally and written. References, valid driver's license and clean criminal background required. Monday - Friday, with some additional on-call hours for emergencies including snow removal during the winter. Company vehicle provided during work day. On-call stipend and minimum 2 hour call-out pay for on-call hours. Full time year around position with an excellent benefit package, including dependent health care coverage.
