Bar Server

Position Purpose:

Assist members and guests with drink order.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Must be able to take drink orders correctly.
2. Must be able to ring up the orders correctly.
3. Must be able to carry and serve drinks.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Must have ability to perform daily work at a high level of accuracy.
2. Must be able to take direction well.
3. Must have keen attention to detail.
4. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Must have professional appearance and behavior.
6. Must have interpersonal communication skills.
7. Must have proficient technology skills on the POS system.
8. Must be able to multi-task.
9. Must be able to speak fluently in English.

Education and Work Experience:

1. High School Diploma is preferred.
2. Minimum one year previous beverage servers experience required.
3. Must be 18 years of age or older.
4. Must have a current T.A.B.C. and Food Handler certification.

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time.
• Must be able to serve drinks with cocktail tray.
• Must be able to work weekends, Holidays, afternoons and nights.
• The hours of work varies upon business.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 20 lbs or more.
• Must be able to see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids.
