About The Role
The Legal Support Specialist will support the Houston Region in managing, drafting, and coordinating real estate agreements and related documents. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end management and coordination of lease agreements, real estate contracts and other legal documents, including facilitating real estate filings and assisting with various legal and compliance matters.
This position is in The Woodlands, Texas.
What You Will Do
Real Estate Document Management : Prepare, review, analyze, file and manage real estate documentation, including lease agreements, purchase agreements, deeds, title review, and other related documents.
Execution & Filing of Legal Documents : Coordinate the execution, filing, and recording of a variety of legal documents and agreements, maintaining accurate and organized records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Communication : Facilitate clear and effective communication between legal, finance, and business teams regarding contract status, key obligations, and timelines.
Compliance and Process Adherence : Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, maintain organized and accessible documentation to support audits and reviews.
General Legal Support : Provide additional support on corporate legal matters as required, assisting attorneys with research, drafting, and other projects.
About You
Bachelor’s degree and / or Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience in business, law, or related field.
2 years of experience in contract management, contract procurement, or real estate-related legal work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with real estate documents and filings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams.
Prior experience in a real estate or legal setting.
