About The Role
The Manager, Residential Business Support provides support to the Director, MPC Land Sales and the Residential Land Sales team. Key responsibilities include compiling due diligence items, communicating with onsite builders, drafting HOA annexation documents, and generating market research reports for leadership. Support team initiatives and objectives by completing various projects and special assignments as needed.
What You Will Do
Compile all due diligence items (plats, construction documents, address plats, geotechnical reports, etc.) in SharePoint to forward to builders.
Review all due diligence items for consistency and accuracy.
Communicate with builder leadership, onsite builders, and builder sales teams in Bridgeland, The Woodlands, and The Woodlands Hills regarding development milestone updates and onsite issues that must be resolved.
Collaborate with onsite HOA teams and builder teams to resolve development related concerns.
Coordinate with Land Development Team to prepare and finalize fence schedules and exhibits for all lot contracts in Bridgeland, The Woodlands, and The Woodlands Hills.
Act as a liaison with the Legal Department to coordinate and finalize HOA annexation documents and easements for Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills and Development Criteria and standards for new sections in The Woodlands. Ensure accompanying exhibits are updated. Distribute to appropriate builders, Associations, etc., and maintain files for all sections.
Maintain database and supporting documents for remaining lots in The Woodlands. Coordinate with Realtors and buyers throughout the purchase process.
Coordinate with key stakeholders on quarterly updates on the Disclosure Maps for Bridgeland, The Woodlands, and The Woodlands Hills.
Coordinate with key stakeholders to compile year-end demographics reports for Bridgeland, The Woodlands, The Woodlands Hills.
Provide back-up support for lot closings and drafting of Lot Purchase Agreements and amendments.
About You
Some college required.
Associates or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of land sales and/or contracts management experience in a corporate environment.
The ability to interact well with employees, clients and vendors.
Must have a strong work ethic and be reliable and dependable.
Maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization.
Maintain positive working relationships with builder executives, sales teams, and onsite construction teams.
Be resourceful and able to work efficiently even if given very little direction and information.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Exercise sound judgment when making decisions and willing to ask if unsure.
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
Good problem solver/creative thinker.
"Can-do" attitude and pro-active.
Highly proficient in MS office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote.
Knowledge of JDE a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Dress code is business casual.
Typical working days and hours will be from home Monday and Friday and in office Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required.
Physical presence is required onsite.
