Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect & Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate new business leads for staffing services.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their hiring needs.
- Sales Process Management: Track leads, maintain a sales pipeline, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and staffing needs within target markets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and leadership to align sales efforts with talent acquisition strategies.
- Proposal Development: Identify, research, and present tailored staffing solutions that address client workforce challenges.
- Event Research and Selection: Proactively research and identify relevant networking events in the DMV area, including industry conferences, association meetings, chamber of commerce gatherings, and smaller, niche-focused events.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in business development, sales, or staffing/recruitment industry experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other business development tools.
