The HT Group is partnering with a prestigious law firm in Downtown Austin to find a Project Assistant! This person will be responsible for supporting multiple Legal Assistants and a Contracts Attorney, handling documentation and administrative duties. We are looking for a highly detail driven professional with excellent writing and proofreading skills. This is an entry level role - no prior legal experience required.
Downtown Austin TX (Onsite) | $45-53k | Direct Hire
Responsibilities :
- Manage the "Contracts Review" inbox, ensuring emails clearly display due dates and billing details.
- Obtain required documents from internal departments as needed.
- Track and follow up on contract modifications with internal teams and external consultants.
- Organize documents before and after board meetings.
- Review and edit documents for accuracy and formatting.
- Research client records, summarize data, and analyze information.
- Update client reference materials, including directories, org charts, and calendars.
- Manage follow-ups on pending assignments with minimal supervision.
- Balance multiple short- and long-term tasks and projects.
- Prepare routine correspondence and legal documents.
- Maintain and file client records.
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and communications with clients and consultants.
- Understand the Contracts Attorney's needs on a client-specific basis.
- Associates degree or higher required
- 2 years of experience in administrative or coordinator role
- Strong writing and proofreading skills is a must
- Experience proofreading and editing documents
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Experience with Workshare is a plus

Salary : $45,000 - $53,000
