Our client is seeking a Network Administrator who is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the systems and network infrastructure. This position implements new technologies, makes improvements to network systems, documents configurations, issues and resolutions, and creates helpdesk procedures to manage and maintain these systems.
The Network Administrator assists in implementation, and management, including network equipment, firewalls, servers, and active directory. This position provides technical support to end users both onsite and working remotely. This position assists with network security and acceptable use policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and ongoing administration of firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points and other network devices.
- Monitor for network performance, latency, outages and trends using tools like Nagios and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Configure, monitor and administer VPNs and IDS .
- Provide technical support for end-users and coordinate with IT staff on infrastructure initiatives.
- Maintain detailed network documentation, change logs and diagrams.
- Provide leadership with status reports and recommend network improvements.
- 3 to 5 years IT/Network administration experience
- 3 Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Terminal Services / Remote Desktop Services
- Windows 10/11 workstations
- Strong knowledge of LAN WAN environments
- Strong knowledge of VPN, DNS and DHCP technologies
- Experience with VLANs and port mirroring
- Experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection System)
- Strong knowledge of switches, firewalls and routers
- Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Hands on experience in documentation and version control
- Keep a Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Windows Server Administration
- Linux Server Administration
- Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V, Scale Computing, etc.)
- Active Directory Administration (including GPO s)
