What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Coordinator position at The HT Group?
The HT Group is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage logistics operations for a client in Evadale, Texas. This long-term contract position involves working rotating 12-hour shifts and requires a strong understanding of logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Run Balance Ship Report twice during shift - review for short, late, not produced, shipments
2. Provide shipping with information regarding changes in loading priority
3. Receive into system all dropped trailers, intermodal, and export containers
4. Verify that rail shipments have correct information
5. Reverse route empty chemical cars
6. Move all released loaded and empty cars from track
7. Generate Invoice in SAP system for truck shipments
8. Assign containers to export shipments according to dock cut and booking information provided
9. Notify and export carrier of reject containers
10. Maintain driver log report
11. If required - reverse Shipment Cost
12. Scan BOL's
13. File Trailer Inspection forms
14. Manage emails and phone calls, review paperwork for deliveries
15. Provide inbound directions to drivers
16. Additional duties as assigned by management
