What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at The Hub Eats & Drinks?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
Skills:
- Experience working in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with banquet operations and event setups
- Understanding of brewing techniques and beer styles
- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks
- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials
- Math skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
