Internship dates: May 28th, 2025 - August 8th, 2025
Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Compensation: $20/hour not to exceed 40 hours/week

About The Hub
Launched in 2016, The Hub Project is a nonprofit effort composed of a growing team of communications, research, operations, and organizing experts who have extensive experience in campaign strategy, digital, and polling and analytics. Position Summary
The Hub Project is accepting applications for an intern on the abortion campaign to support the campaign’s efforts to fight back against attacks on our reproductive freedoms and rights. The campaign aims to educate the public about who is responsible for those attacks and share real stories to demonstrate the devastating consequences of abortion bans and restrictions. Our campaigns leverage a mix of grassroots organizing, research, and paid media tactics to advance the goals of The Hub Project and its allies. We are a fast-moving organization that is always ready to jump into the next fight, so the right person for the internship is not afraid of taking on new opportunities to move people to action and quickly responding to an ever-changing news cycle. As an abortion campaign intern, you will,
- Assist in coordinating and communicating with a diverse network of storytellers who have a personal stake in the fight for reproductive freedom
- Track local and national news stories, and monitor for opportunities for Free & Just to engage and grow our storyteller network
- Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale events that create opportunities to grow and engage our storyteller network
- Support and translate policy research and help translate into comprehensible information for distribution
- Perform other duties as assigned

- You have experience drafting press materials, building press lists, and writing talking points and campaign messaging
- You have experience working on progressive issue campaigns or at advocacy organizations
