What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at The Human Bean?
The Human Bean Barista provides the highest quality service and products to our customers. Qualified applicants must have the ability to provide prompt courteous service, prepare quality beverages, and assure the customer enjoys an exceptional experience.
Qualifications:
· Pass a rigorous product training program
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong customer service skills
· Exhibit good manners and neat personal appearance, proper
personal hygiene
· Be able to work flexible hours (mornings, evenings,
weekends & holidays)
· Demonstrate communication and basic math skills

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
The Human Bean was founded in 1998 with a commitment to developing the very best drive-thru coffee. A husband and wife team decided to open a stand-alone, drive-thru coffee shop. It wouldn’t be just any business. It would be part of the community. It would be good and do good.
