The HR Onboarding Specialist is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and administering the full onboarding process for our client base. This position is the first point of contact for onboarding and pre-employment inquiries. The HR Onboarding Specialist also performs a variety of administrative and operational tasks to support delivery of legendary client service.
Essential functions include:
- Reviewing all new hire electronic documents for accuracy and ensure that all necessary forms have been completed
- Troubleshooting when candidates have technical issues and ensuring all onboarding issues are followed up on and cleared in a timely manner
- Managing the onboarding employee dashboard and ensuring all new hires are processed timely
- Auditing and reviewing Form I-9 for accuracy, documenting corrections, and processing through E-Verify as needed
- Processing and reviewing results for background checks and pre-employment drug testing
- Communicating with the hiring manager regarding the status of the new hire paperwork and following up as necessary
- Creating and sending offer letters
- Reviewing all offer letters and compensation agreements to ensure they are complete, accurate and are signed by the new hire
- Process, print and package payrolls for shipping to clients
- Manages the UPS and FedEx delivery accounts including tracking deliveries
- Assisting in other Payroll Operations activities as assigned
Qualified candidates will have:
- 1-3 years of related experience including onboarding with a Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Strong technology skills including MS Office and HCM
- Exceptional follow up skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing work environment is critical to success
- Must be reliable and dependable as this position is 100% onsite in our Seymour, CT, location.
