Job Description
About the Role
The Warehouse Coordinator collaborates with the Operations Manager, the receiving/shipping team, and other Store teams to coordinate the movement of products through the warehouse and optimize the storage of inventory and supplies.
S/he/they will demonstrate a background of working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, geographic and socioeconomic backgrounds, using a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible approach.
Essential Duties
Coordinate all activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods and supplies.
Track incoming shipments.
Set daily receiving and shipping plan.
Work with Operations Manager, merchandising team, and buying team to set receiving priorities on a daily and weekly basis.
Coordinate with merchandising and receiving teams to optimize storage of merchandise, both short-term and long-term, as well as merchandising props and materials.
Work with Merchandising Coordinator to maximize use of space in warehouse and other storage facilities.
Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
Assist receiving and e-commerce teams to process incoming and outgoing shipments.
Work with mailroom personnel to organize and log shipments efficiently while in the mailroom and to expedite their removal to the warehouse and/or Store for receiving.
Work with Operations Manager to ensure supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized, following proper safety and security measures.
Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in the warehouse, arranging with Operations Manager for repairs or replacements as needed.
May perform other related duties as assigned.
Cover mailroom personnel when required to ensure ongoing receiving operations for The Huntington campus.
Candidate Requirements and Experience

Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred:
Experience working in a warehouse or similar role.
Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, regulations, and procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant computer applications.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions
Work schedule – Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
May be asked to work occasionally on weekends, holidays, and/or varied hours to meet business needs
Standing for extended periods each day.
Frequent lifting and moving of boxes and other objects weighing 40 or more lbs.
Walking between warehouse, mailroom, and Store up to several times each day.

Working Environment
Receiving room and basement storage environment. Employee will be lifting and carrying boxes and merchandise. Transports merchandise across grounds using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and merchandise carts.
