Job Description
- Provide warm hospitality to arriving and departing guests
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure
- Facilitating hotel room orientations, delivering amenities and other items to guest rooms as needed
- Working knowledge about hotel rooms, services and features and relaying information to guests
- Ensure that the surrounding areas in the lobby level and main entrance are clean
- Assist guests during and throughout their arrival and departure experience including but not limited to delivering and storing luggage
- Conduct room orientations to explain features of the room such as how to operate the television, telephone, in-room movie system, etc.
- Offer information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interests, and entertainment attractions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front of house or guest services role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and team members alike
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
