What You'll Do
A Cocktail Server provides a unique dining experience for our guests by delivering outstanding customer service and a superior guest experience. Responsibilities include attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their drink orders. A Cocktail Server also ensures the timely delivery of beverages to our guests and is expected to pass periodical testing for food and beverage knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Have an extensive knowledge of The Penthouse’s menu, beverages, and cocktail menu.
- Possess a strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food and beverage handling procedures.
- Inform guests of menu changes and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Ensure all orders are filled accurately and deliver beverages from the bar to guests in a timely manner.
- Provide attentive service to diners, check their needs throughout their dining experience and promptly address any customer service issues.
- Prepare final bill, present the check to guest, accept payment, process credit card, and make changes (if needed),
- Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shift.
- Assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables and maintain cleanliness in all service areas.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant.
- Create a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them and thanking them.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Embody and deliver exceptional service and hospitality.
