Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, in Houston, TX is seeking to hire a Fleet Manager who is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, coordination, and operation of the company's fleet of vehicles. This role ensures that vehicles are operated in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The Fleet Manager will work closely with our lease partner to maintain vehicle records, and manage costs related to maintenance. Other duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee routine maintenance and repair schedules for all vehicles.
- Ensure that all vehicles meet legal and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with repair shops or in-house mechanics to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure that vehicles are equipped with necessary supplies and safety equipment.
- Plan and organize vehicle routes and schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure the proper use of fleet vehicles and manage the vehicle assigned process.
- Work in collaboration with the Financial Manager on fleet budget, including fuel costs, repairs, insurance, and maintenance.
- Analyze costs associated with fleet operation and identify areas for cost-saving initiatives.
- Oversee the lease of new vehicles or the disposal of older ones when necessary.
- Maintain and communicate accurate records for each lease vehicle, including registration, insurance, inspections, and maintenance history etc.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure all drivers adhere to safety protocols, driving regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in and conduct safety meetings to provide insight into vehicle operations, road safety and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in 350 plus fleet management or logistics.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and fleet management software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GPS tracking and fleet management software.
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including working efficiently with Excel spreadsheets.
