Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com),is seeking to hire a IES Technician (Indoor Environmental Solutions) who will be responsible for cleaning and servicing Air handling Units (AHU). The IES Technician will have experience with light commercial HVAC systems and/or cleaning air duct systems and experience in AHU refurbishing.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all duct-cleaning equipment.
- Access, remove and clean air distribution components and equipment.
- Sell ancillary products/services in conjunction with performance of duct cleaning service.
- Prepare all job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked Company vehicle.
- Complete AHU Refurbishing which includes (clean and sanitize AHU, filtration upgrades, coating of inside of AHU and replacement of coils, motors and bearings if needed)
- Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
- Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Documents service and cleaning actions by completing forms, reports, logs, records.
- Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing results as needed.
- The IES Technician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Ability to use power and hand tools, able to use thermometers, pressure gauges and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems.
- Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and have strong mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers.
- OSHA 10 Safety training.
- Mechanical experience is a Plus.
- Must have a good driving record.
Requirements:
- Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning related experience.
- 2 years or more related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
- Have basic understanding of duct mechanics and how it affects Indoor Air Quality.
