The selected candidate will be responsible for installation of structured cabling, security solutions, and other low voltage solutions for new construction projects and existing customer locations.

Responsibilities :
- Responsible for installation and service of systems and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Use a variety of tools, blueprints, engineering specifications, notebook PCs, to install, diagnose, repair, and program Security & Low Voltage equipment.
- Plan and prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining the building layout, anticipating difficulties, staging materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
- Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance programs, equipment inspection and functionality checks, identifying wear, maladjustment, miscalibration, malfunction, and drift.
- Terminate network cables (Cat5, Cat 6 / Cat6A, optical fiber, etc.)
- Set up and terminate network racks, trays, and associated equipment in technology rooms.
- Document work completion and project status through paperwork and devices such as notebooks, iPad, on each job.
- Create schedules, checklists / punch lists throughout construction project and closeout process.
- Represent the company by serving as direct customer contact.
- Support SLV Technicians by providing field support.
- Utilize project plans and documentation to prioritize and schedule work.
- Determine parts to order for repairs.
- Work as part of a team or team lead.
