Position Summary:
Responsible for the controllership function across Imagine’s US locations. Role responsibility includes the timely and accurate submission of financial statements, performance metrics with adherence to financial controls and GAAP accounting requirements. The role will also participate and/or lead strategic initiatives within the finance function and other areas of the business.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting and analysis of financial statements and reports; monitor the company's progress against business and operating goals and help identify opportunities to improve business performance.
- Collaborating and contributing to the Senior Leadership Team and BOD to improve overall company performance, internal control and compliance.
- Act as primary contact to Imagine’s financial information with senior leaders and both internal and external auditors.
- Ensure discipline, rigor with a high level of integrity in financial reporting.
- Develop and communicate financial results to management and executive leadership.
- Partnering with the CFO to determine accounting and tax implications for all material business decisions.
- Oversee other Imagine functions including Treasury, Tax, Risk Management and Internal Controls.
- Oversee and validate general ledger functions and business unit consolidation; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAP
- Overseeing tax compliance and strategy.
- Develop and adopt standardized policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Establish the optimal organizational design and talent to support the needs of an effective and modern shared services organization including digital upskilling.
- Acting as a liaison to external auditing firms, while owning primary responsibility for the Company’s views on technical accounting matters.
- Drive standardization in processes, tools, methodology and terminology, ensuring adherence to appropriate accounting policies and procedures, including improvements in period closing process to achieve benchmark levels.
- Improve functional acumen and drive a culture of innovation and advancement.
- Define and implement metrics to measure health and effectiveness of the transformation
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related area of study
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 15 years of work experience in accounting and/or financial management experience, with 7 years of experience in a senior financial leadership position, and 5 years of experience in the manufacturing or adjacent industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards and regulations.
- Previous experience managing finance and accounting functions.
- Thorough understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
- Experience in navigating through complete technical research.
- Exceptional Technical Accounting skills.
- Proven high level of business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex requirements and solutions into concise and compelling communications including data management and data analysis skills.
- Ability to establish trust, respect, and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels.
- Experience leading and inspiring teams to meet business objectives with outstanding results.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, financial reporting software and databases

The national pay range for this role is $125,000- $175,000 year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
