Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service, crafting delicious cocktails, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Manage inventory levels by tracking supplies and placing orders as necessary to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or special events such as banquets.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks and handling food items.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous bartender experience is a must; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant or retail math concepts is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of various cocktail recipes and bartending techniques is advantageous.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Must have valid OLCC permit and Food Handlers card.
