Hospitality Housekeeping attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept clean, organized, and welcoming for guests and staff alike.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and other work areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dusting furniture and shelves
• Emptying trash cans
• Reporting safety hazards to the homeowner or manager
• Replacing bedding and making beds
• Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding cleanliness in a prompt and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Uphold safety standards by ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality sector is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial responsibilities, and floor care practices.
• Proven ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
