Job Description
As our Director of IT, you will be responsible for a wide range of services, hardware, and consultation for our school.
Services
- Provide on-call and on-site support and track service requests through a ticketing system, such as Freshdesk.
- Managing mobile device management (MDM) for a range of laptops and iPads using Meraki, Google, and Windows systems, and unifying them under a single system.
- Manage network deployment, maintenance, and management using Meraki hardware and software for all layer 2 and 3 devices.
- Manage Voice Over IP (VOIP) telephony using 3CX and
- Manage Google Workspace for Education for 500 users, implementing email security and ensuring CIPA compliance.
Hardware and software
- Manage hardware deployment, maintenance, and management for faculty, staff, and student-facing devices, including Windows, Macintosh, and Chromebooks.
- Manage peripherals, such as SmartBoards, LCD projectors, and other input/output devices, and troubleshoot printers.
Consultation
- Provide security updates, maintenance, and programming for access control across 5 buildings and provide consultation for security camera networking across 4 buildings.
- Consult with the Registrar/Strategic Innovation and business office regarding platforms such as the Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), and more.
- Provide recommendations for purchasing hardware, such as mobile devices, peripherals, network cabling, and servers and switches.

Qualifications
- Degree/Certificates in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field
- 3 years of experience in information technology preferred.
- A high degree of accuracy

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
