Order and precision of all things food is what you live for. As a Pastry Prep Cook, you enjoy the behind-the-scenes of pastry art and ensuring success for the rest of the baking & pastry staff.
What we will ask of you :
- Refer to Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening and closing checklists and promptly report equipment, food quality problems, or product shortages to Chef
- Prepares and portions a variety of baking & pastry and other food items and a variety of other kitchen equipment
- Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, ovens, convection oven flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation
