For years, The Information's scrappy, highly sourced tech and venture reporters have broken news on many M&A deals, from Amazon's Twitch buyout to Google's deal for Mandiant (and several abandoned ones, too). We're looking for a reporter to join this team and bring our deal scoops to a new level. The landscape is tumultuous. This is a great chance for a reporter to be at the center of it all.The scope of the beat will range from fire sales of venture-backed startups to Salesforce's next target, and could extend to buyouts and initial public offerings. If you geek out on deal terms and love analyzing (or want to learn) how a deal benefits some investors more than others, we're the place for you.
