The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center is looking for an experienced Banquet Manager with strong leadership, organizational, communication, and guest service skills. Manage our busy Banquet Department to execute the Hotel's banquet functions, which range from small business meetings to large conventions, galas, and weddings. This $65-$70K salaried position is part of our Hotel management team. Full benefit package fun perks like discounted admission to Springs Water Park.
Requirements:
- High volume FOH banquet management experience
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, schedule and supervise servers and set up staff
- Manage day to day operations including ensuring proper inventory and control measures of product
- Communicate with all departments as needed regarding food and beverage needs for banquet guests
- Work with the F&B director to ensure compliance with the budget and to meet revenue goals
- Ensure function meets all specifications as ordered, i.e. visual aid equipment, room set-up, food.
- Supervise prior, during and after function to ensure timeliness and orderliness
Candidates must be results driven, multi-task oriented, positive, and have good communication skills.
