- Additional Info : Urgent Care Physician - Big Ten University CommunityWe seek a skilled Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine Physician to join our fast-paced practice in a vibrant Big Ten University town.Ideal Candidate should be proficient in : - Reading basic X-rays of all body parts- Laceration repair / wound care- Initial ECG interpretation- Interpreting test results- Urgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients and the appropriate transport of these patients to the closest Emergency Room DepartmentQualifications : - ACLS / BLS certification- Ability to see all patient types- DOT Certified or willing to become- Experience in Occupational medicine, urgent care, or family medicineCommon Diagnoses : - Upper respiratory infection- Cold, flu, and coughStrains, sprains and fractures- Cuts and lacerations- Urinary tract infections
