About the Role
This position is a great opportunity for new graduates to start their career in child and adolescent psychiatry. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited residency in general psychiatry and have board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. in both general and child/adolescent psychiatry when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and monitoring the psychiatric and medical needs of assigned patients
- Communicating patient needs through the interdisciplinary treatment team planning process
- Concurrent documentation in the medical record
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with state licensure
- Completed accredited residency in general psychiatry
- Board Eligibility/Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. in both general and child/adolescent psychiatry when applicable
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in child/adolescent psychiatry preferred
- Valid driver's license, SCM certification, CPR/First Aid certification required
- Able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel independently up to 10% of the time
