Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience for all resort guests. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent service and upholding high standards of cleanliness in a hospitality setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
- Restock guest supplies such as towels, toiletries, and beverages.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Clean assigned public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and lounges.
- Follow resort standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- Properly handle lost and found items according to policy.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
- Assist in special cleaning projects as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Physical stamina to perform duties (e.g., bending, standing, lifting up to 25 lbs).
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced resort/hotel environment.
- Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
