The incumbent of this role will be a reliable, professional, and dedicated Private Executive Driver to provide safe, timely, and efficient transportation for the client. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, courteous, and experienced in driving in Virginia, and the surrounding regions. This position requires long hours, and the driver will start and end their day in Washington, VA. The role demands discretion, a strong work ethic, and a strong focus on safety and reliability. This role will be required to provide driving and additional services to the client. On occasion this will also include driving for hotel leaders and/or hotel guests. It is essential that this person be able to work in a team environment and collaborative manner. Evening and weekend hours will be required.
Driver must have solid professional driving/chauffeur experience, strong attention to detail, strong history of punctuality and polished appearance. The driver is expected to always be professional and courteous in all driving and non-driving situations. Good grooming and personal hygiene with clean and proper dress are expected. Calm, rational behavior and positive “can do” attitude are attributes of this professional. The driver will follow instructions and requests while always maintaining the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Drives the client ensuring maps or navigation devices for desired routes, checking radio and/or online traffic and weather reports for departure and destination locations. Tracks flight and advises the employer and/or passenger of potential or existing adverse conditions and suggest alternative routes or travel time adjustments.
- Responsible for Company vehicles to be cleaned and always fueled. Ensuring waters and/any other item required or needed by the client is in the vehicle.
- Ensure Company vehicles are maintained at impeccable levels and maintain all servicing records. Partners with the Executive Assistant to make all service appointments at a time that fits the schedule.
- Keeps Company vehicle mileage records up to date.
- Handle all vehicle-related documentation, including maintenance and service records.
- Provide excellent customer service and remain calm and composed in all situations.
- Ensure that all driving complies with traffic laws and regulations.
- The Chauffeur will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to the client.
- This role involves driving the client to various destinations, maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Perform regular vehicle checks, including tire pressure, oil levels, and general mechanical condition, reporting any issues to management.
- Accommodate special requests from the client, such as preferred routes, specific music preferences, or other amenities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of client and others on the road.
- Maintain a clean driving record, reporting any accidents or violations to management immediately.
- Stay updated on local road conditions, weather alerts, and any potential hazards that could affect transportation services.
- Coordinate with management to receive daily schedules and updates.
- Be flexible and responsive to changes in schedule, including last-minute requests or alterations.
- Dress in accordance with the company's dress code, typically in professional attire
- Communicate effectively with clients and management, providing updates on travel progress or any potential delays.
- This role will serve as a Valet attendant when required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- A variety of tasks to include store runs, grocery shopping, laundry pick up /drop off, package retrieval/drop-off, and other orders and deliveries.
- Keeps receipts of purchases and reconciles monthly with the assistance of the Executive Assistant.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably with experience driving executives or in a corporate environment.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft windows.
- Knowledge and expertise using technology: GPS, weather, and traffic apps as a tool to plan driving routes, and to prevent delays due to high traffic and/or routes conditions / accidents.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Familiar with luxury vehicle operation
- Experience providing customer service, especially in a high-end or professional setting.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and comfort
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways, traffic patterns, and alternate routes.
- Knowledge of the Virginia and Washington, DC area, including traffic patterns and alternative routes.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
- Periodic needs to travel to other cities within VA, DC, and Maryland.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Required to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Physically able to assist clients with luggage and other items as needed.
