Job Summary
A Steward at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchens and dining areas. This role requires a team player who can assist with cleaning equipment, utensils, and physical work areas, as well as supporting kitchen staff with food storage and rotation.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass, and silver
- Assisting kitchen staff with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Cleaning and resetting dining areas
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Taking out trash and rinsing garbage cans
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
