Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining proper cash register procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering services as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles in restaurants, nightclubs, or fine dining establishments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Experience with catering or banquet services is a plus but not required.
