Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the Aloha POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred, with knowledge of various drink recipes and techniques.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Background in the food industry is advantageous, along with cash handling experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
- Knowledge of brewing processes is beneficial but not required.
