Membership Coordinator
The Membership Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative work for membership, chapters, and the programming team in support of CLM initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Provides excellent customer service to build collaborative relationships and provide proactive, high-quality administrative support to the CLM team and volunteer leaders.
- Responds to member inquiries via email and phone, acting as a liaison between the organization and its members to increase member engagement and loyalty.
- Communicates and guides members to effectively utilize resources and tools available to them (i.e. website, profile management, licensing support, etc.).
- Assists with creating invoices and processing new companies, member applications and general member updates.
- Maintains rosters of companies and provides updates for contact and company records.
- Creates and distributes accurate and timely reports to staff and members.
- Promotes CLM member engagement in conferences, events, and webinars.
- Assists the programming team with speaker management including collecting speaker profiles, training materials, providing Cvent support for events, SME communications, etc.
- Provides administrative support for the Membership, Chapter and Programming Teams.
- Meets assigned membership goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to present information and respond to questions professionally and effectively, conversationally and in written communications. Strong editing skills.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required.
- Internet research and database/CRM management experience.
- Prior experience in a not-for-profit or membership association is a plus.
