Insurance Account Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering strong relationships with clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and customer service, with a strong understanding of insurance products and regulations.

Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct thorough analyses of client accounts to identify opportunities for additional coverage or services.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, utilizing skills in retail sales, telemarketing, and outside sales.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to ensure client satisfaction while adhering to company guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication with clients.
• Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations (including HIPAA compliance), and new insurance products to effectively advise clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline sales administration processes and enhance overall service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
• Strong background in retail sales, telemarketing, or outside sales is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to analyze client needs effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple accounts effectively.
