Title Teacher

Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Support of the school's mission, vision, core values, goals and policies
- Interact and communicate respectfully with all stakeholders
- Establish a classroom culture of high expectations and compassion for all children
- Follow the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators and the Ohio Standards of the Teaching Profession
- Proctor diagnostic and benchmark assessments for students and assist with identifying students for placement in intervention groups
- Analyze NWEA MAP, running records and other benchmark assessments to accurately assess students’ academic needs
- Communicate the data with teachers, administration, and families
- Effectively deliver, and at times design Tier II and III , developmentally appropriate and data driven lesson plans for 1-1 and small groups
- Seek and use identified research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student needs to bring their skills to grade-level
- Knowledge about Fountas and Pinnell’s Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) and Benchmark Assessment System (BAS)
- Ensure the success of each student through clear and consistent record keeping, differentiated instruction, and timely and specific individual feedback
- Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress
- Keep the classroom environment organized and safe
- Engage regularly in professional learning opportunities to better instruction
- Maintain consistent, reliable, dependable attendance and a professional attitude
- Devote full attention and time to teaching responsibilities and such other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Education or equivalent experience
- Ohio Early Childhood PK-3 License, other Ohio License with Reading Endorsement or working towards licensure
- Experience with linguistically diverse and other diverse learners
- Satisfies the BCI and FBI background check
Benefits Salary
- Starting Salary Range for Licensed Teachers: $43,000 - $50,000
