Description:
The Intersect Group has partnered with a growing company in search of a part-time Accountant. This is a critical role with the accounting team, processing and finalizing the company’s financial activity for the previous month. It involves a series of tasks to ensure that all financial transactions are properly accounted for and that the company's financial records are accurate and complete.
The selected candidate will come in approximately 10 hours per week, on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting data: Gathering invoices, receipts, bank statements, and other financial information
- Reconciling: Comparing the collected documents and information with the company's accounting system entries
- Recording transactions: Recording all financial activity for the month
- Adjusting entries: Making any necessary adjustments to the financial records
- Preparing financial reports: Creating financial statements and other reports that accurately reflect the company's financial position at the end of the month
- Software Utilization: QuickBooks Desktop
Qualifications:
- Highly experienced in QuickBooks Desktop
- CPA preferred
- Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance
