Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Hours: Full-time

Essential Functions and duties:
- Entry of approved/ coded accounts payable and asset invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements, identify issues and resolve discrepancies
- Research positive pay exceptions from bank; provide detail to appropriate person for further action
- Basic accounting functions may involve generating reports, journal entry creation, general ledger/system activity reconciliation and other duties, as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 years of full cycle accounts payable experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, either independently or through collaborative efforts with various personnel
- Self-starter qualities are a must
- GED or High School diploma required
Ideal Experience:
- Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Concur expense management
- Excel - LOOKUPs, pivot tables
