What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at The Intersect Group?
The Intersect Group is currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist for a client located in the Phoenix (Deer Valley) area. This role will support the accounting department by ensuring accurate billing and invoicing transactions are made. This is an entry level position ideal for candidates with 1 years of billing experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process incoming orders that have been shipped to customers (all communication is internal with customers)
- Create invoices for those shipped orders
- Assist with auditing of incoming orders
- Communication and interacting with sales, shipping, and accounting departments
- Will be responsible for processing roughly 20-50 invoices daily
- Maintains files, analyzes paperwork, and transmits for financing
- Assist with accounting policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Accounting or business office experience preferred
- 10-key by touch
- 1 year of billing experience preferred and willing to train
- Computer knowledge must be proficient in Excel & Microsoft office
- Detail oriented and organized
- High School diploma or Associates degree in Business or related field
